For the beginning, just replace main iGO8 exe, with some from iGO section (8.3.4.142975 is good version). It must have same name as original.

Easy Touch ET-909
How to unlock or update maps on this device?
Originally iGO 8.3, but copying .fbl files to the map folder has no effect. Maps are invisible. I also copied license files to the license folder and still nothing.
I wanted to run iGO Primo but I do not know how to bite it.
I tried the shell.ini file on the card and the explorer.exe folder but the effect is still missing. Can anyone help?
I found something on the Internet about the igopath.ini file but there is no such anywhere. There is a similar file: launcher.ini and there I also changed entries giving the path to the igo.exe file and still nothing.

Unfortunately, I do not have this device anymore. The owner had to travel with this navigation urgently.
However, I remember trying to replace the original cracked software. The file .exe, branding.zip and data.zip did not want to be removed from the device memory because the software was on it. There was also a problem replacing and you could just skip copying these 3 files.
If not for blocking files, I would not even open this topic.

You should only start WinCE shell from SD card with some of unlockers (Kopca) or general scripts (Mort, AdJa...). Then you can change exe and other files.
It was quote OK device, capable for Primo 2.4 btw, but best works with Primo 2.0.
