Can you please tell me what do i do with the files after i donwload them? I have a garmin device. I just have to copy them to POI folder on the device? Or transfer them using poiuploader? Thank you!
you must convert to gpi format with Garmin POI Loader and send them to your Garmin/Poi folder
You have to navigate to get to the good.

but what tipe of files are these? they are not either .csv, not .gpx... i tried to rename the and add .csv or .gpx ending, but the poi loader does not recognise them. what should i do? thanks!
they are csv format
have you downloaded garmin or tomtom ones?
Now here is how to lay out on the computer so you can transfer to gps.
1.Make a main folder and call it my pois
2.Open the main folder and make the sub folders and name them like you want.
3.Put the csv files in the correct sub folder not the main folder.
4.It should look something like this on your computer.
>>My pois=main folder
>>>Alerts=subfolder
>>>>speed zones.csv
>>>>variable speedcameras.csv
Make other subfolders as needed for other files
5.Hook gps up to computer
6.Run POILoader and direct to the main folder not(subfolders)and complete the download
7.Now go to gps click on where to,my locations, custom pois or extras I believe is on your gps and touch screen.
8.You should now see the listing of all your custom pois.
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Thank you very much ofr the help! I did not manage to do that, beause poi uploader does not sais that there is no usable data in the files. I even added extension .csv at the end of the files, but it does not work. Thanks anyway!
I downloaded the Garmin ones, but I also tried to do what you advised with the tomtom ones, but there is no result. Could I change the format of them in .gpx?

But how do I get the files that you show me? Because if download the files that are on this thread I get a zip file which contains a file which format I don't know, and the computer does not recognise it. What should I do after I unzip the files I download?
