I think dasilvarsa was saying the LinkSave.in is the commercial site; and I have to agree. Direct links to ZippyShare are awesome. Running ZippyShare through another commercial site is a bit akward. I struggled to figure this DL out as well. I've never had any problems with ZippyShare direct links, but LinkSave is a PITA. Just my .02 cents. It's sometimes easy to forget the effort which is made by frequent uploaders like pietu. And he has to do that on an regular basis to keep supplying us with what we want or need, and not just Cyclops 'coz he posts maps and charts too. It's also easy for us to just grab what we need [we want it now and we want it fast, sound familiar?] and forget entirely the work by the poster. But if we don't get it now or fast, and then bitch about it, or even just comment neutrally that the dw is a bit difficult for us, the uploader's going to feel badly done by and make comments reflecting such hurt feelings as in Post #163 above. And if the uploads stop, who will then go without? Caty or me for instance? You? It's rhetorical of course, it's anybody who now has the convenience of pietu's work. But pietu will still have the Cyclops won't he? [fat lot of good they probably do him on Faroe anyway]. And there's the thing: I doubt he would be inconvenienced at all if he didn't have the files to upload, in fact life would be easier for him .... He posts these files for you & me folks. If they are posted onto a site which requires us to THINK a little before we press every dl button in sight, or 'jump thru a few hoops' to get the files, or use a different IP, or tap dance while eating custard, I don't care.
How about this?: The next time you get his files, even if the links aren't hidden to you, give him a 'Like' and everybody should give him Rep+ too if you can. That way he'll know his efforts are appreciated by the silent majority and we won't drive him figuratively-speaking 'into his cave', [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].
