Edit Factory POI's ?

Has anyone figured out how to edit the Built-in Factory POI's that come with the maps?

I read somewhere that the POI's are imbedded in the Maps and re-loaded thru flash memory, but I'm not sure if that is correct.

So how about it..... anyone able to edit theose Factory POI's ?

I just can't stand those stupid gigantic symbols on my 3490.

You Could Possibly do it with TurboCCC GirEditor

Personally I would be too afraid to try something like that.

I agree that may be a risky thing to try. And WAY beyond my capabilities.

I was hoping that someone had already done it, or at least attemped it, so they could tell us their experience.
