Just a little caveat. The language guide is downloaded, IIRC onto your Nuvi's main drive so if you have an older Nuvi, u may run into issues. I have the Old original Language guide stored on my 350 and I would like to, but havent updated to the newest travel guide since I'm not certain if that's transferred to your Nuvi too or if it's accessed via SD card.
Just saw Marcio's post. The travel guide is also stored on your internal Nuvi drive.
Thanks a lot Catymag! The travel guide and language guide installed perfect, at least on my Nuvi 660.
Does the updated Travel guide also include the new Language guide or do I need to D/L the old one ?
Thanks.
the update is just the travel guide

Hello,
You don't need new Language guide.....it works fine for me(nuvi 265w) with the old one.
Language guide: (Nuvi 1350T)
I followed the above instructions (copied filed to SD card, inserted serial number, generated codes....) but it kept sayin: LOCKED. Then I used the device ID (not the SD card serial number) - now it works fine.
Nuvi1350, Jetmouse 1.5, Garmin Language guide from map-product- drop-menu
May I deviate for a sec from the technical talk and ask about the usefulness of this data? What exactly is in this Travel Guide: a watered down collection of POI's? An upgraded collection of POI's? And lastly, wouldn't a recent updated POI file be preferable to this guide?
