All Speed Cameras of Brazil for Garmin MobileXT

Hi folks, this is a complete guide for brazilian speed cameras in CSV format to be used as POI's in the Garmin MobileXT with the City Navigator Brazil NT v4. It has Speed Cameras for all brazilian major cities like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte and so on...

You will need to download the GARMIN POI Loader directly from Garmin's site to export those POI's into your Garmin device. There's ~4.500 POI's in this file and counting... when it reaches to 6.000 i will update this post with new cameras.

Run the Garmin POI Loader with your Nokia in Data Trasnfer Mode, select the CSV file and export to device as Proximity Points, witch you can config the GPS's behavior as you pass by the Speed Camera. If you have any questions please let me know.

It's tested and works just fine! I hope it helps my brazilian friends here and you all. :vac:

Sorry about my english, NOEMAN Rulez!!!

Thanks. Wish it was available for some other countries like Thailand. Where did you get the data to put into the POI? I would like to help contribute.

Valeu galera manda rep ae!!! Leo xarope! tomara que não funcione tu tome multa ahueahueha!!! É noiS!!!

Carbon, unfortunatly i don't know POI's for your location, but a good way to search for those POI's would be via Google Maps. Maybe poeple from your country did the same thing...

Here in Brazil some people who was tired to get fu*&îng speed tickets all over, developed a site witch everyone can access and put new POI's using GoogleMaps. its called maparadar.com, from there you can export POI's in different formats.

    Default brazil traffic cameras

    Psyconaut,
Do you or does anyone know what kind of traffic photo cameras are used? Photos Lazar? Photo Radar? Also is is legal to use a clear licence plate cover to protect against camera flash?
    thanks!
