Route 66 Version 8

1. Install sis file.
2. Copy two folders from archive to e:\system\apps\route66_v8

is it correct that on my n95 85 the folder is named e:\resource\apps ?
and that i not can see it when i use the pc suite.?

As of now whatever you do Mobile8 (Route66) will not work as it is not ctacked. So no point in trying. I also hear that routee 66 has stopped giving trails (Atleast i am not getting any!).
Either wait for some body to throw their magic on route66 or try tomtom ot garmin.

Gidday, I downloaded that torrent which you mentioned and ticked just what i needed (Utorrent) ie the australian bit, however it was a "prm" extention which i believe is an older version and didnt work on my 6110. I did manage to get q2 2007 aus and mel maps, but they are locked.

do u use Version 8 if so , how do u load it?

There are no cr**ked maps for R66N8 except for an early version of the Iberian Peninsula.

However you may be able to trial a single map for 15 days. You only get one trial though.

You can load R66N8 and its map onto a SD card that you can run from your GPS unit.

There are both Australia and Melbourne maps available (as well as a large number of other countries). The Australia map is really up to date being a Q3 2008 version.
