Hi everybody,
Did you hear something about a "Route 66 V9" ????
Thank you...
Just one more question.
How would you compare this with Garmin Mobile for Symbian.
I have used Garmin Mobile XT on my Nokia N95 and
1. I can tell that it is very very slow.
2. It takes ages to lock down the satellites (when you start app/calculate route).
3. Almost every time it informs about the turns etc after I have crossed them.
4. 1 good thing is that it picks up the speed camera's in advance.
How would you rate Route 66 in these aspects?
Hi everybody,

@ludoke,
I installed succesfully route 66 v9 "china inicom" on my Nokia E71. Maps of all countries are unlocked (so you can dowload it on your device).
But once you want to use it on road, you are invited to activate the navigation mode :met:
So you're right: if you want to use it, you must pay ( one day licence = 1.99€, 30days license = 7.99€, 1 year = 59.99€ )
So we have to wait for a patch....
Will this work on 5800XM? Please advise, thanks
Everything looks OK for 5800XM until you try to find an address. The screen stays on 'Searching .........' forever. Nomatter I used a virtual keyboard (M8 doesn't support touch) or a wirelss bluetooth keyboard.
Installed sucsessfuly on Nokia E71.
Ran smoothly.
I had a previous version before on another Nokia E51: R66 v8.16873.
This one here seems to run better.
