Torrents? nah, that really is a retro step.
I'll stick with my favourites FileFactory (currently charging €8 per month but normally has offers/discounts etc and of course Zippyshare is totally free but has a 200Mb per file restriction) and I also support usenet although few bother with this which is a shamePlease do not post "thanks" but use the "reputation" star(*) bottom/left or "like" bottom/left buttons S i m p l e s

Torrent is not safe and must seed, not possible for big uploaders and for long periods.
Hosts must be fast for free downloaders, Filefactory is deadly slow for them, I like 1fichier, after some years of experience I must say it's the best for big files.
Zippy is very good , but 200 MB uploads per file only.
To avoid ads and similar spam, install Adblock.
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Have that but does not stop Spam infiltration and not all Antivirus programs can stop it "even had Avaste spam me so had to even clear their spam out " even the good places are spammers life is difficult even for IT people.

Your Adblock is not updated or well configured and you click on ads instead of clicking the right button. Usually "free" or "slow download" button

Is fine but not all programs run smoothly so one has glitches occasionally is what I do but the IGGs computer purrs alone as usual.
