Thread: Tom Tom on the external card KIT KAT.

I want to thank you for explaining it so clear and all the time you put in it.wauw. Good job. I have an S4 mini with android 4.4.2. just a standard one...And thanks to your explanation I got it to finally to work after editing the metadatafile so it is suitable for 4.2.2. That was the final dot missing in your explanation. But I know why. Haha. Greetings from Holland.

1 - We delete everything related to TomTom , etc cartepas . and uninstalled the application, which of course had installed , lol.

3 - Connect mobile phone to the PC and copy the folder com.tomtom.iberia Android / data path of External Sd .

4 - Inside the folder are the files com.tomtom.iberia folder and metadata , as they cleared the metadata files and then open the folder and delete everything inside.

5 - Now we have the com.tomtom.iberia unzipped folder on the PC and copy and paste the whole folder files ( without opening it ) and the metadata in the files we had empty folder in mobile. The route has to be so , com.tomtom.europe / files / files

6 - Finally copy and paste the tomtom apk in Android / data of the External SD route.

7 - Install the apk and go.

With KK 4.4.x on External SD :


SD ROOT / Android / Data / Com.tomtom.europe (empty folder) / Files <<<< here ALL Tomtom FILES FOLDER and Metadata.xml.

Practically the path must be this:

SD ROOT / Android / Data / Com.tomtom.europe / Files / Files
