I chose my vehicle as a truck and entered the truck parameters.

Content? what content?

if i click search and i click on the P icon, no subcategories appear... in the other icons show subcategories.

It was discussed that you have to have a small one among the countries that has truck attributes (it's not exactly like that but we called it that), you have to be online and include almost all the additional options in the software (experimental features).

I read the first post and others. I haven't read the 85 pages. supposedly should not be the essentials in the first post? I installed version 1.9.6 and depending on what I see there, the updates are on the basis of TTS. I also saw that the screens that appear are much more detailed than the version I have. I read that also speak in the OBB file, but I do not find it for download. Is that the OBB file that of the TTS? I know it's hard to ask for questions that have been answered a lot, but if you don't want to clarify, patience. I really appreciate your help and sorry my english.

Okay, I had permanent crashes of NDS under Android 11 since the last security patch(Samsung S10). Not without navigation, but as soon as the voice would try to announce something.
So I switched to quiet mode: No crash! Then I switched to the android system voice (and after restart): No crash!
Not the ideal workaround but livable! Hope it helps!

Wow. Thank you. I was wondering for weeks what happens to TomTom NDS chrashing immediately after navigatings starts.
I did a reset of the app (with its build in fuction for that) - That helps as well but only for a limited time...

And its as you said. Right after the first voice kicks in the apps chrashes!
Switching off the voice helps and nothing chrashes.
And as you said: Going to TTS and Systemvoices helps as well....

Looks like not only on Android 11. Have 10 here with 01 AUG 2021 patch. So that happens here as well...

I like the TomTom voice more but I like it even more if the app works again :-)

I read your posts on the Tomtom forum.

You have to remember this app NDS is a free version.
It is very close to Tomtom GO but there are differences.
One has to be happy with what they have.

As you can see the last major update was August 2021 for TomTom Go.

As for NDS I think it is the same.

You can also go to the map correction area from TomTom and send corrections too.


As for weekly updates there is nothing wrong with monthly updates.
They work just fine.....
