I have the same phone, Android 14, but I have not this problem.
Since my S21 FE is on Android 14, TomTom NDS 3.4.21-latam.b.4294 stops on using Search. I reinstalled the app but no change,
Anyone a solution?
Kind regards

You need to grant the application ALL notifications and permissions regarding the phone's resources
all prrmissions are granted and unrestricted battery use

In the Playstore, other users write about the same problem with the TomTom GO.
The solution is to set the font in the system to default.
Yes, it is the temporary fix as now of now. BTW, I have 2 of Samsung S23 Ultra with update Android 14 & UI 6.0.
Tomtom will roll out the new version of tomtom Go to resolve this issue. NDS may not have the update version. Keep your fingers cross.
How do i do that, i am not an expert

You don't need any special knowledge, much less to be an expert. And we don't know what phone you use
Open your phone's system settings, type in search box "font" and find in the results the necessary adjustment
Or google how to do that specifying the model of your device and the Android version
Found it, many thanks
@HDriever;
I think it would be very helpful to you to read the manual of the phone you have.
That way you can understand all the functions that come with your phone and what can be changed and how to put them back to default.
Even if you buy a used smartphone always go to their website and get the manual in what ever language that is best for you.
It does help with not getting a headache when things do not work they way they should.
PS:
When you make a change remember it so you can always go back.
My wife is forever changing setting and not remembering what she changed.
Then comes to me to fix what she changed because her phone is doing something strange......
