I did run a checkdisk and this was the result
    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk E: /f
The type of the file system is FAT32.
    Volume Serial Number is CE06-66F0
Windows is verifying files and folders...
File and folder verification is complete.

Windows has scanned the file system and found no problems.
    No further action is required.

    1.996.488.704 bytes total disk space.
    40.960 bytes in 10 folders.
    34.123.776 bytes in 54 files.
    1.962.319.872 bytes available on disk.

4.096 bytes in each allocation unit.
487.424 total allocation units on disk.
479.082 allocation units available on disk.
that all looks ok... any more suggestions?
