help for newbie - maps not found on TT ONE V2

Sorry guys anyone have the patience to take me thru what I may be doing wrong in getting my new uk and Ireland 940-5995 map installed on my TomTom one v2, I have uninstalled the old map put the new map in the root off the sd card ran the latest fastactivate app but still I get no new maps found ? the navcore on my unit is showing as 7.9 03 which from the compatablity chart looks okay for this unit, the fastactivate programme seems to do its thing okay but I notice the navcore options shows navcore already patched when I select this within the fastactivate ?

one thing I am unsure about is I am sure I read that I had to remove the sd card / or switch off the unit to create a new file during the activating process, can someone remind me as this is possibly what I am doing wrong ?

so okay any ideas ? any help or advice would be so much appreciated.

okay have tried removing the tif file from the original menu and creating a new one by switching off the unit before patching with fastactivate but still no joy no maps found.

Hello see if there meta of this map.
If no meta you never will activate the map look at another map that has target

Okay thanks will download one off them maps from within your link and see how I get on, do you think that is the problem why it is showing as no maps found ? the map that is compatable with my ttone v2 is the 937-5913 one, does not look as new off some off the others available ie 940 maps but at least its newer than the one on the tt one just now !!

Okay still no joy keeps coming up with no maps found ? what am I doing wrong ??! a I say the fastativate process seems to work okay in that no errors come up but when I select the navcore option is advises me " navcore has been patched already " should this be happening ? really am stumped what to try next ??!! only removed the old tt map folder and the tt tif file should I be removing anything else from the sd card before running fastactivate /trying to install the new map again ?

I'll save your lower and unzipped to a folder on your PC.

Install and activate the map, with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
