TomTom XL - Iceland

Hello all,

My current GPS is a TomTom XL.

I currently have 2 maps on it:
Southern_Africa version 945.6174
European map (Europe_995_8507)

But I would like to make sure that I have the latest update of the European map (Europe_995_8507)
When I connect to my TomTom Home application on my computer, it suggests an update to navcore 9.541, which I think means I'm on the version just before.
But I'm afraid that when I update this, I will have to start all over with new maps too, to be compatible?

Thanks for a little guidance.

Will install the 9541 with 1030 maps

You won't get an Iceland map on older NAV2 or NAV3 devices:-
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

A little confusing
After navcore update from TomTom it must be patched new , as I know
Or do you need the Iceland maps ?

Both, I need Iceland maps, no matter on which navcore it is :-).
I just see that Europe is 3.65 GB and there is only space for 3.62 GB. That's not helping either...

Not sure what to say about NAV2 or NAV3? what does it means?

Basically the Iceland map (or Europe maps which include Iceland) is NOT available under any conditions for older NAV2 & NAV 3 devices. see here for more info [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

If you MUST have Iceland then you MUST buy a newer device!

OK clear!
In that case, I will just update it to the latest map available for Europe.

Does it mean that no new navcore will come out anymore?
And no map updates?
