Tools to make TomTom non-TTS Voices

I have tools to split and make TomTom non-TTS voice files (the .chk). I discovered a few days ago that TomTom has also a newer format of non-TTS voice. It is still a .chk file, but the content is encrypted. I think it works only on the GPS for which you bought the license.

I have a few questions for the TT users:

1- Do you know of any tools to make non-TTS voices (encrypted or non-encrypted?
2- Do you know about the new encrypted file format?

Yes, I bought a TT XLS-One-S 2 years ago just to make a TT TTSVoiceEditor. It never worked. I never used it since that time. Splitting the .chk was done at the same time.

Anything on the TT encrypted voice would be great. I'll wait for biggerdave's feedback.

mmmm; don't think I've come across anything like this before but we do already have loads of Celebrity voices etc (which normally need c r a c k i n g/activating) or the VocaliserTTS computer voices (which are actually rubbish) but DO run in the older TT devices
If I find anything I'll be back.

Thanks biggerdave. The .chk I am talking about starts with the hex value 0x80 at offset 0. From what I can see, it is encrypted with a changing xor scheme that looks different for odd bytes and even bytes.

Bloody hell! That's too complicated for a dummy like me but 'm sure someone will either come up with an answer or tell you it can't be done.
